I got to say, the One thing I hate about being a Guitar/Bass Player, is getting stabbed by the Low E String when changing Guitar Strings. It doesn't really hurt, but you defenitly feel it tho.
Yea, Cause you got to get use to it. I have been playing Guitar and Bass for 6 years now, and I had my fare Share of being stabbed by Guitar Strings. But it doesn't Matter by experence, everyone will get stabbed.
Yea, Same. But when i have to Change Bass Strings, that is painful No Matter what. It wasn't the Low String, the high one got me. Went about a half inch in my middle Finger. Going in is One thing, pulling it Out is another Story. Lets Just say, the coil on the String didn't make anything better.
Well, the only reason why it Happen to me is because I was trying to get it to fit through the Bridge properly, it kept getting Stuck. Well, once I did get it through. So much Force of me pushing it in delivered the String in my Finger Cause it was in the Way of the String. I wasn't playing attention.
Not really, I still have a light Red dot on my Finger. But it Looks better then it did when it Happen. But, that was about a couple a months ago. I change my Strings every 8 months, and I installed my new ones about two months ago. No scar, Just a Stab Mark now.
